Concept Art - Volcanic Creature

Concept art featuring a creature that has adapted to the Volcanic Environment pictured in the concept art of the respective name. I started with numerous silhouettes to get an idea of what type of creature would fit best, and ended on the Iguana-like creature based on the Galapagos Land Iguana. I did some anatomy studies as well as expressions for the creature, before fully realizing the line work and final color design.
